The founders
Chee Kent Lam
Founder & CEO
Chee Kent spent over two decades in digital finance before founding Ventuplex. As Chief Architect of Bitflyer Lightning Exchange — Japan's largest cryptocurrency exchange — he designed the systems handling millions of daily transactions.
Prior to that, he spent nine years at UBS's Proprietary Trading Desk engineering algorithmic trading infrastructure, then served as Chief of Digital Assets at SBI Virtual Currencies. That career, built at the hardest end of the industry, is the engineering foundation Ventuplex stands on.

Joanna Tang
COO
Joanna brings twenty years of experience across startups and global companies, with a background in marketing and communications. Trilingual in English, Mandarin, and Japanese, she leads Ventuplex's operations and cross-cultural team coordination.
She and Chee Kent first worked together at SBI Group — a partnership that became the operational backbone of Ventuplex.

Journey started
Chee Kent Lam began developing software projects independently — a deliberate step away from restrictive corporate environments and toward something built on his own terms.
- 2021
Ventuplex group formed
Aventuri Technology Enterprise was founded in Malaysia to lead sales and client relationships, while Data Equinox was established in India to anchor the engineering capability.
- 2022
Ventuplex founded
Ventuplex was incorporated in Singapore as the group's main holding company, bringing the international structure together under a single vision.
- 2024
Growth continued
The team grew to 20 members across 3 countries. Ventuplex reached self-sustainability — a milestone built on the same principles it was founded on.
